This bright white kitchen, with its pop of blue in the island, is the right balance of style and functionality. To get the layout just right, we moved a window from the back wall of the house to the side. We removed two non-load-bearing walls separating the living room and kitchen to create an open concept space. We installed wide plank engineered hardwood  throughout the main floor.
