Description
With the collaboration of Studio Leah Brown Design, we transformed this dated, closed-off kitchen in Waterdown, ON into a modern farmhouse dream. Custom cabinetry in a warm, medium-toned walnut paired with an airy off-white finish brings a soft, welcoming brightness to the space, while Venetian bronze hardware adds a timeless, elevated contrast.
A full-height quartz backsplash creates a seamless, polished look behind the range and perimeter cabinetry, enhancing both durability and visual impact. The addition of a built-in wine fridge adds a layer of convenience for entertaining, thoughtfully integrated into the design without compromising on storage or flow.
To further modernize the space, we replaced the existing flooring throughout the main floor with light-toned, wide plank hardwood, creating a cohesive foundation that complements the cabinetry and enhances the overall warmth of the home.
By removing the wall between the living room and the kitchen/dining area, natural light can now move freely throughout the main floor which creates an open, functional layout that is ideal for everyday living and effortless entertaining.
